A graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, and a cum laude graduate of University of California, Los Angeles, Ms. Kiaei concentrates her work to support the Firm’s civil litigation related practice areas. Ms. Kiaei prides herself for her quality of work, persuasive argument, and deep dedication in providing each client with personalized, results-oriented and effective representation. Ms. Kiaei is an aggressive, skilled litigator with a reputation of excellence in both litigation and pre-litigation matters, who strives to find productive and cost efficient ways of solving problems. Ms. Kiaei has successfully represented and advised commercial and residential homeowners in landlord tenant lease disputes, commercial and individual contracts, unlawful detainer, business litigation, judgment enforcement, employment, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, age discrimination, retaliation, whistle blower, toxic tort, mold litigation, and CERCLA cost recovery actions. Ms. Kiaei’s notable courtroom successes include, but are not limited to, prevailing on motions for summary adjudication, demurrers to entire complaints without leave to amend, demurrers to portions of complaints without leave to amend, motions for terminating sanctions striking entire complaints, oppositions to two significant anti-SLAPP motions, and obtaining multiple judgments. Regardless of her area of practice, the interest of the clients remains a priority throughout Ms. Kiaei’s representation.
Ms. Kiaei was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001. Ms. Kiaei has also been admitted to the United States District Court, Central District of California, and United States District Court, Eastern District of California. Ms. Kiaei was recently named as Southern California Super Lawyer - Rising Star, and was added as a member of Cambridge Who’s Who. Ms. Kiaei frequently sits on the panel of judges for the Vincent S. Dalsimer Appellate Advocacy Tournament, and judges various Moot Court competitions at Pepperdine University. Ms. Kiaei is also an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Ms. Kiaei is fluent in Farsi.
