Mr. Sweet graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations in 2003. While at UCLA, Mr. Sweet received UCLA's Latino Alumni Association Scholarship Award. Before law school, Mr. Sweet gained valuable experience working for Bank of America and a venture capital firm. Mr. Sweet went on to earn a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 2007. During law school, he was a founding member of the Real Estate Law Society. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Harry Pregerson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Sweet gained valuable experience in defending negligence actions involving real and personal property. Since joining the Firm, Mr. Sweet has represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including employment related disputes, premises liability, toxic tort, and intellectual property. Mr. Sweet concentrates his work in the Firm’s litigation, transportation, and business transaction practice areas.
