IAN P. CULVER, Associate

 

Mr. Culver graduated from Loyola Law School in 2006 and was admitted to the California Bar that same year.  As an undergraduate, he attended Occidental College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History & the Visual Arts with a Film Emphasis in 1998.  In the intervening years, Mr. Culver worked in the entertainment and publishing industries.

During law school, Mr. Culver served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw, Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and as Senior Articles Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review.  Mr. Culver was also named to the Dean’s Honor List from 2004–2006 and volunteered as a law clerk for the Office of the Los Angeles City Attorney.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Culver’s practice focused on general litigation, particularly entertainment and construction matters.  Since joining the Firm, Mr. Culver has represented clients in litigation matters raising various issues, including liability for environmental clean-up,  freight loss and damage, fraud, and breach of contract.  Mr. Culver concentrates his work in the Firm’s litigation and  transportation practice areas.
