Ms. Booth received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from California State University, Northridge in 1983, and her Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1986, where she competed in a national competition as a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, and was a National Finalist in the American Trial Lawyers’ Association Trial Advocacy Competition.  Ms. Booth concentrates her work in the Firm’s Transportation, Business Litigation, Labor and Employment, and General Liability practice areas.

Ms. Booth is an experienced litigator who successfully represents clients in jury trials, court trials, administrative hearings, arbitrations, and proceedings involving injunctive relief. The addition of Ms. Booth expanded the Firm’s expertise to include transportation law.  Ms. Booth regularly presents seminars on issues of importance to the transportation industry, and in recognition of her expertise Ms. Booth has been elected to the Board of Directors of the California Trucking Association, and the Steering Committee for its Los Angeles/Orange County Unit.

Ms. Booth began her legal career with the international law firm of Bryan Cave, LLP, where she gained experience in a wide range of legal matters. Thereafter, she was a founding member of Gardner & Booth, a litigation firm which represented clients in business real property related disputes. Ms. Booth has handled cases throughout California, including cases before the Court of Appeal involving limiting liability for lost freight, partnership dissolution, malicious prosecution, negligent interference with business, enforcement and renewal of judgments, corporate governance, tax enforcement, and shareholder rights, including the published decisions entitled Timberline, Inc. v. Jaisinghani (1997) 54 Cal.App.4th 1361, and BreakZone Family Billiards v. The City of Torrance (2000) 81 Cal.App.4th 1205.

Ms. Booth is a member of the California State Bar, the Transportation Lawyers’ Association, the Conference of Freight Counsel, and the Transportation Loss Prevention & Security Association.  She also serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles, a non-profit corporation dedicated to assisting those whose lives are affected by epilepsy through education, advocacy, and services.
