Ms. Atherton received her Bachelor of Art Degree in English in 2002 from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating cum laude.  In 2005, she received her Juris Doctorate Degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she was a Student Articles Editor of the Pepperdine Dispute Resolution Law Journal.  While attending law school, Ms. Atherton served as a Legal Extern to the In-House Counsel of the Directors Guild of America.  She also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Samuel Levine in editing and compiling submissions for the nationally distributed Professional Responsibility and Jewish Law newsletters.  During law school, Ms. Atherton received a CALI Award for earning the highest grade in her music law seminar.

Ms. Atherton concentrates her work in the Firm’s litigation and construction related Practice Areas with a particular emphasis on construction defect litigation.
