Mr. Caplan received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2009 and was admitted to the California Bar the same year. During law school, Mr. Caplan was named to the Dean’s Honor’s list from 2007-2009, and worked as Research Editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. Mr. Caplan also served in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, both as a volunteer law clerk for the Pasadena Branch Hard Core Gang Unit, and as a certified law clerk in the downtown Preliminary Hearing Unit. Since joining the firm as an Associate, Mr. Caplan has represented clients in a variety of areas, with particular focus in areas of intellectual property law, unfair competition, complex construction litigation, and medical products liability.
